Toothpicks

Directions:

1. with a mallet or rolling pin flatten chicken breasts In a ziplock bag until each is 1/4 inch thick. Pat dry with paper towel.

2. In a bowl mix cream cheese and minced garlic until garlic is evenly distributed.

3. Spread cream cheese and garlic mixture in the middle of each chicken breast staying away keeping cream cheese away from edges.

4. Roll chicken breasts so cream cheese and garlic mixture is on the inside.

5. Wrap entire chicken breast tightly with bacon, using toothpicks to keep bacon in place.

6. Cook on grill for at least 25 to 30 minutes or until done on medium to low flame. (Tip: Keep an eye on chicken rolls and turn them often to keep bacon from burning)

7. When done, let chicken rest for 5- 10 minutes, and remove toothpicks before serving. (Tip: count the number of toothpicks you use when wrapping the chicken, that way you know you have removed all the toothpicks at the end)

My Personal Review:

This Stuffed Chicken Breast Wrapped In Bacon is a delicious summer recipe that is great for the grill! The only complaints that I have about the recipe are the prep time and the cook time. This recipe is not for impatient people. The bacon is a little tricky to work with, and rolling the chicken isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, but if you have the patience and are willing to give this recipe a try it will be well worth the wait and the work required!
