Man Made Mac and Cheese

Today's recipe: Man Made Mac and Cheese

This is an awesome recipe I was able to help the Uptons make while we were visiting them this past weekend. It was so easy and tasted amazing! Thanks Wes and Katie for letting Mandy and I stay for dinner!

Serves:
6-8

Here's What You'll Need:
1 lb. dry macaroni
16 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
24 oz. cottage cheese
1 stick butter
2 cans chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:


1. Melt butter in oven in a 9 x 13 pan while preheating oven to 375 degrees.

2. Mix cheese, cottage cheese, and dry pasta in a separate bowl.

3. once butter is melted spread cheese/ noodle mixture into 9 x 13 pan.

4. pour 2 cans of chicken broth into pan on top of cheese/ noodle mixture. do not mix.

5. bake uncovered for 1 hour at 375 degrees.

I couldn't stand waiting for this to finish cooking- It smelled SO good. I can't wait to be able to make this one again! Thanks for an awesome day Wes and Katie!

they cook in the chicken broth. It is def. a recipe worth trying!

We just finished this. I LOVED how easy this was. I will definitely be adding this to the dinner list. We will probably serve it with some broccoli next time for a little bit of a texture change. Thanks for sharing!
